The Girl In The Empty House

Looking out the window with empty eyes,

There once was a girl who lived in a house all alone.

In a house under cloudy skies,

The world outside was completely unknown.

There used to be others with mouths full of lies,

And hearts made of stone.

The house was silent for so long,

Only the sound of the floorboards groan.

All those bad people were now gone,

The world became colored in different tone.

Now they’ll hear the birds silent song,

In that house they’ll no longer roam.

She lived in that empty house under the fog and rain, perhaps that was wrong,

But she was happy in that empty house alone.
